Commercial & Industrial Energy Storage Cabinets
One cabinet, three-phase, IP54, outdoors. Inside the GCB units: LFP cells, a hybrid PCS, thermal management and fire suppression. The GLC-261 is DC-side and takes an external PCS. Outside: a grid connection and a load that stops spiking your demand charge.

What Commercial Battery Storage Does on Site
-
Peak shaving
Discharge into the peak window, charge off-peak.
-
Backup
Keep the line running when the utility drops.
-
PV self-consumption
Store midday surplus, release it after sunset.
Peak Shaving and Demand Charge Management
Peak shaving discharges the battery during the site's highest-demand window and recharges it when the tariff is low, which caps the monthly kW peak that drives the demand charge. The integrated three-phase hybrid PCS does this automatically. The amount saved depends on the load profile and the tariff, so SiRay sizes from twelve months of interval load data and returns the payback with the quotation.
What We Need From You
- Twelve months of interval load data, or a measured load profile
- The tariff structure, including how the demand charge is calculated
- The grid situation: stable, weak or absent
- Available footprint and whether the cabinet can sit outdoors
Air-Cooled or Liquid-Cooled?
GCB-E100 and GCB-E240 use refrigeration, ventilation and heating and hold -20 to 50 ℃ at 75 dB or less. GLC-261 circulates a 50:50 ethylene glycol solution and holds cell temperature spread below 3 ℃, which is why it reaches 8000 cycles to 70% end of life. Choose liquid if you cycle hard every day.
Installation
All three cabinets are IP54 and sit outdoors on a slab. GCB-E100 is 1200 x 803 x 2375 mm. Three-phase four-wire, AC 380 V, 50 Hz, RS485 / CAN.

Common Questions
What is peak shaving and how much can it save?
Peak shaving uses a battery to discharge during the site's highest-demand window and recharge when the tariff is low, which caps the monthly kW peak that drives the demand charge. A SiRay GCB-E100 (112.53 kWh at 50 kW) or GCB-E240 (241.15 kWh at 125 kW) performs this automatically through its integrated three-phase hybrid PCS. The saved amount depends on the load profile and tariff, so SiRay sizes from twelve months of interval load data.
What is the difference between the GCB-E100, GCB-E240 and GLC-261 cabinets?
The GCB-E100 stores 112.53 kWh with an integrated 50 kW three-phase PCS and air cooling. The GCB-E240 stores 241.15 kWh with a 125 kW PCS and air cooling. The GLC-261 stores 261 kWh at 832 V, uses liquid cooling with a 50:50 ethylene glycol solution that holds cell temperature spread below 3 ℃, and is rated 8000 cycles to 70% end of life. All three are IP54; the GCB cabinets carry an integrated fire protection system and the GLC-261 uses aerosol suppression.
Can a C&I storage cabinet be installed outdoors?
Yes. All three SiRay C&I cabinets are IP54 and designed for outdoor installation on a slab. The GCB-E100 measures 1200 x 803 x 2375 mm and weighs 1300 kg, operates from -20 to 50 ℃, below 2000 m altitude, and runs at 90% or higher system efficiency.
Can a C&I storage cabinet be expanded or paralleled later?
Yes. The GCB-E100 and GCB-E240 each carry an integrated three-phase hybrid PCS, so a second cabinet adds energy and power instead of sharing one converter. The GLC-261 is a DC-side cabinet that pairs with an external PCS or a hybrid inverter, so its converter is sized together with the cabinet. SiRay sizes the first stage to the load you have today and issues a layout drawing that reserves the second cabinet position and cable route, so the slab and the LV connection are only built once. Share your five-year load plan when you request a quote.
What does the site need ready before a C&I cabinet can be installed?
A level slab that carries the cabinet mass, a low-voltage connection point for the PCS or hybrid inverter, clearance around the cabinet for airflow and service access, and a communication path for the EMS. All three SiRay cabinets are IP54, so no separate enclosure or building is needed. SiRay issues a foundation and termination drawing before shipment.
